The Psalmist sings, “a broken and contrite heart, God, you will not despise,” and so we begin the season of Lent with confession. The imposition of ashes reminds us of our brokenness, our sin, our mortality—but in the symbol that points to wholeness, forgiveness, and resurrection: the cross.
Worship with us in the Sanctuary for a spoken service at 11 AM. Sign up to attend a luncheon following the service. Volunteers are needed for set-up, clean-up, and to bring soup, bread, and dessert.
Join us in the sanctuary or via livestream for a traditional worship service at 7 PM.
