Bach Cantata Project
Date: 8 Nov 2026Time: 2:30 pm until 4:00 pm
Please join the Bloomington Bach Cantata Project on Sunday, November 8 at 2:30 p.m. as we begin our second 100 cantatas with J. S. Bach’s “Jesus schläft, was soll ich hoffen?” BWV 81.This work opens with a sleep aria but gives way to towering waves, a sea storm, and foaming billows–so bring your foul weather jacket and a life preserver. Joanna Blendulf directs.
