Pizza and Trivia Night
Date: 12 Sep 2026 From: 5:30 pm until 9:00 pm- 5:30 pm – pizza (and salads and desserts)
- 6 pm – team formation
- 6:15 – Trivia starts, led by the Trivia Master Rance

LuMin Grab and Go Lunch
Date: 13 Sep 2026 From: 9:30 am until 12:30 pmGrab-and-go lunches are provided for IU students at 9:30 and 12:30 (after each church service). Volunteers bring 12-15 individually packaged items for various categories. The food that students take home often goes in their backpacks during the week; we hope it also reminds them of how much our congregation cares about them.

Pantry279 Volunteer Wednesday
Date: 23 Sep 2026 From: 2:00 pm until 6:00 pmJoin us at Pantry 279 on volunteer Wednesdays. There are sitting jobs and more physically demanding jobs. We welcome adults, teens, and school-age children with a parent. A shift is 2-6pm or any part of that time.

Welcome Table Lunch Packing
Date: 26 Sep 2026 From: 10:00 am until 12:00 pmYOU are invited to come help pack 110 lunch bags for the hungry people who gather at First Christian Church on Sundays. All ages are welcome. The task is usually done within an hour. We also will need home baked items to put in the bags. A Thrivent Action Team Grant purchases the materials. If you would like to sponsor a packing with a grant, please connect with Allison Ward. See the sign-up sheet at the Welcome Desk for both bakers (helping ahead of time) and packers (helping on the day).
