Protein for Pantries

Date: 25 Oct 2026 From: 9:30 am until 11:00 am

On Sunday, October 25, between the services we will come together to pack TVP, which is
Textured Vegetable Protein, into family sized packets. These packages will then go to our local area
food pantries for our neighbors. TVP can be used as a meat substitute in things like chili, spaghetti
sauce and such. Our Mission Endowment Fund offered a grant of $1,200 to purchase the TVP and
supplies so that we might be able to bless our community. We will need many hands, so please plan
to lend a pair for this fun project. Children under 12 will be decorating bags for our Welcome Table
Lunches, due to the age level requirement for participating in the packing.

Pantry279 Volunteer Wednesday

Date: 28 Oct 2026 From: 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm

Join us at Pantry 279 on volunteer Wednesdays. There are sitting jobs and more physically demanding jobs. We welcome adults, teens, and school-age children with a parent. A shift is 2-6pm or any part of that time.
